It appears there is to be a sudden change of scenery along our path very soon.
Outside . . .
Inside . . .
Closing the door to the end of a beautiful era . . .
Words cannot express my thoughts today,
Bittersweet perhaps . . .
I'll be back soon to let you know of a new adventure awaiting the Gooseberries.

Oh my gosh, our farm cat, Ginger, has crept into your pictures, it seems.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures, you have made a wonderful home there. I wish you well in your changes to come.
A new adventure. How exciting.
ReplyDeleteOh so much to say I don't know where to start! Firstly that baby is delicious, suspect she is smiling about gazing at vintage florals all day. Secondly(in no particlar order) you have a very handsome rooster- he looks like he knows it too. Thirdly, that tablecloth with the floral animals is so lovely and there is nothing better than a line full of vintage goodness. So nice to see some shots of you and your wonderful kitchen- love the glimpses of vintage colour around the place. Is that a smeg oven? We are thinking of getting a smeg- if it is would love to know if you are happy with it. Lastly, I am hopeless but does this mean that you are moving?? melx
ReplyDeleteA beautiful insight into your full and beautiful life and family. Your little baby is just adorable. In the shot with the fry pan and running girls I had a giggle thinking I'd be running too if my big Sis was behind me with a big ol frypan.
ReplyDeleteI hope your new beginning is a good one, look forward to hearing what it is.
Moving house???
ReplyDeleteOh my just when you have your beautiful kitchen! Well I love new adventures and I hope you will too. Can not wait to hear the details.

ReplyDeleteoh..i just love all your photos of your farm..they are iconic with the children running around, the chopped wood, sheep, chooks, cat in the basket, washing on the line and the vegetable garden..and then inside there's a lovely warmth in your photos with all your cooking and the children looking happy..
ReplyDeleteA new season approaching? Best wishes with what ever comes your way.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a beautiful home inside and out.I love the photo of you cooking with your little one. All the best with whatever comes your way.
ReplyDeleteI love your banging wall, I have been meaning to make one forever- might need to go looking for some old pots and pans and finally do it!
ReplyDeleteFabulous photos!
ReplyDeleteMmmm am I seeing things or did the order of the photos just change? :)
ReplyDeleteYes Ailsa, I liked your idea of the photo of the driveway, Thought it would make sense to lead the post. :)
DeleteA new adventure sounds exciting but i do hope everything is ok there! I just loved taking a trip around your beautiful home and outside....i could understand why it would be so very hard to leave if you had too! Isn't that bubba of yours growing so well and i remember again now how jealous i am of your lovely new kitchen hehe!Love all those beautiful smiling faces and mama working in the kitchen with a helper!xx
ReplyDeleteHope all is well! You sound uncertain. There is loveliness around you though. Hunker down and enjoy the couchy weather. I do so respect a mama who can rock (a baby) and roll (pastry) simultaneously. x
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to hearing your news Karen!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely snaps of your place. Look at little Laura, I just want to pick her up and give her a cuddle, she's so sweet. Love the shot of the clothes line too - and your new kitchen. cheers Wendy
Oh goodness what a little beauty Laura is, so lovely. I look forward to hearing your adventures.
ReplyDeleteThe photos were lovely. I love all the 'musical instruments' hanging on the fence, that is one of my favourite ideas from your blog! Hope all is well....I recognise the sound of change in your voice... a little hanging on to the past ...a little looking into the future. Hope all is well .
