Blossoms

Pink & Pretty
Something new to me in this wonderful new town and climate is Blossoms!  I adore them.  Spring is still very much in the air down here, I have to say, I am not missing that Queensland weather!
If you followed the links in my last post you would have seen many of the gorgeous flowers around town that have been capturing my attention lately.  These pretty pink ones adorn my front yard, and I have roses that are heavy in bud I hope to share with you in the next couple of weeks.
I'm very home sick at the moment but Pretties like this still seem to make me smile everyday  :)

  1. I love those beautiful blossom trees. I'm sure you know, I'm a little jealous:)

Your dressing table looks great, is that gorgeous vase a new find? I love it!

Super cute photos of the kids, that Laura! It makes me laugh to see you all still so rugged up. So hot here, I can't tell you.

I'm sorry to hear about the homesickness, I'm always here, anytime you want to talk xo

    Love you :)

  2. The blossoms are lovely. You are not missing too much spring up here. It is scorching hot (was 38 degrees on weekend) and our lawn is a crunchy brown crispy disaster. Thank goodness for after school swimming! mel x

  3. Ditto the weather here.
Lovely blossoms Karen - I noticed them in your last post. So jealous. The cooler weather must be a lovely change, and to be able to really notice the seasons changing would be a real plus! Lovely shots of your girls. Even though you are home sick, I'm sure you are settling in a little more all the time. Enjoy the ride. cheers Wendy

  5. It has cooled down over the last 2 days which is a relief as we had 3 days of nearly 40 degrees. Too hot. Love the blossoms.

  6. Your blossoms are just beautiful and the ones on the trees are nice too! I grew up in a milder climate and miss the delicate side of spring. The heat here worries me if this is only spring! Sorry to hear you are homesick. We miss you too. Lovely to hear from you.x

  7. They really are lovely. We are going into winter so right now we have "Mums" and pansies/johnny jump ups/violas blooming but that is it.

  8. Looks like a crab apple - we have a tree in our backyard. Glorious thing. The other looks like a Peach blossom of sorts...

    1. Yes Lilian, I think it is a crab apple. My new Favourite tree. I will be planting one of these in my front yard when I next settle again.
