I am thoroughly enjoying becoming part of a wonderful community in my new home town. So much does my busy town lifestyle consume me right now that the pages of poor Gooseberry Jam are starting to get dusty... I'm sending you over to Monkeemoomoo, my delightful cousins blog to share a few moments we enjoyed together over the past couple of weeks. A rare day out, our usual holiday fun, a trip to Carcoar, Blayney, Millthorpe and a garden tour around Orange. Mrs Moo has been such an inspiration to me over the years, she is the person responsible for introducing me into this lovely Blogging Community. Do stay a while and have a cuppa with her, she has some truly fantastic, heartfelt, unique and inspirational posts to read.
I do hope to get back with some kind of something myself again soon... xoxox
Well even it's it is only a lazy post, it's nice to hear from you Karen!
ReplyDeleteSo pleased that you have become involved in your new home community. Lovely snap of your girls by the blossom. cheers Wendy
Still lovely to hear that you are happy and not alone. We'll wait it out...
ReplyDeleteHi Karen,
ReplyDeleteGreat to hear you are starting to feel at home in your new town. I have been reading your cousins blog and looking at all the photos over the past week. You are both so lucky to have each other, having so much in common. And it's great that the kids still get to spend time together despite the distance.
There is rain falling here in Jimboomba as I speak. It is so nice, as everywhere is so dry and barren after over a month of no rain. Hopefully it rains long enough to seep into the ground and to put some water back in our tank.
Look forward to reading what you have been up to in Orange when you are ready.
Cheers,
Sarah from Jimboomba
so good to hear you are settling in, what a full on year.
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you are enjoying the move.
