Within the waves of pain, discomfort and frustration I am cherishing the last few days left with just Bubba and Me. I have always enjoyed being pregnant, it's such an amazing experience, and becoming a mother is certainly one of the most challenging experiences life can bring. This will be my last pregnancy, I'll miss my Belly! I am trying to savour every last moment, forming that special bond I'm continuously rubbing my little tummy, and I do say little because I don't think I'm really that huge do you? Mind you I still feel like a ten tonne Truck! So in the countdown, we have a few names on our short list and I am becoming very anxious about the whole 'Birthing', but oh, how excited I am also becoming to soon meet this new little person...
What do you think
Girl?
or Boy?
and Yes, I have only got one bootie made !

I'm sure you will breeze through the labour, you are an professional at this remember. Just hurry up and finish that beautiful bootie as you do not want to be squeezing that in between contractions! melx
ReplyDeleteWhat a special thing that is.. to give birth, and so glad you are already giving her hugs (just a guess). I am rather partial to girls, but I pray your delivery goes well and the baby (whatever it is) is happy and healthy - I know it will be loved.
ReplyDeleteOh I have tears in my eyes. I remember having my last, knowing it was going to be my last pregnancy made it so special, I just wanted to treasure every moment of it. I hope everything goes nice and smoothly and very soon you will be holding your new little bundle of joy. I'm going to say a boy! (And no you are definitely not that big, I was the Mac Truck complete with 2nd trailer lol, I swear!!)
ReplyDeleteSo exciting, we're currently 34 weeks pregnant, and bub is making his/her presence known all day long. Your belly is gorgeous, I might have to risk a similar shot. :)

ReplyDeleteA most splendid belly. I do remember relishing every last pat of the bump before it was over. Meeting a new baby is thrilling, especially when you don't have a name or the sex. What a lovely joyful bit of news to look forward too next week! Thanks!

ReplyDeletePS Karen .............. I think it's a girl?!

ReplyDeleteI agree with Becky - a boy I'm guessing. Enjoy each amazing moment of the pregnancy. I loved it too. But isn't it amazing that you spend nine months developing a relationship with your baby and then you're still so surprised when you meet them that they aren't the child of your imagination but their own beautiful selves. We'll wait for baby news with anticipation.....

Four days, how exciting! Hanno's mother always said that a round belly was a boy and a pointed one was a girl. You look round to me. What ever the sex, I'm sure you'll have a happy and healthy baby to hold and love very soon. Go well.
