  1. I think I'm due for another drive up Mt Conobolus. The last time we went it was so foggy/misty that we couldn't see a thing.
Love the story behind Amish Friendship Bread.
And all that pretty fabric unpacked. I bet you're inspired to get creating again.

  2. I know how you feel about the blogging. Good to hear from you though whenever you are able. Nice to know that you are being welcomed into your new community. Hope you find your sewing machine soon.

  4. Great that you are finding your feet in your new home and town, I will be heading down tha same path in a few months time when we relocate to our new rural property. Some of your recipes from your previous post look very yummy, I will have to try that lemon syrup cake. Love those boot toppers as well, may have to make some of those... Deb :)

  6. Ahh Karen - it looks like you are settling in just fine. You and the family look great - and it looks so cool up there too! Starting to warm up here - first taste of summer today I think. Good that you are baking and getting your craft things out - and doesn't having a visit from family make such a difference!? Take care, and so good to see you posting again. cheers Wendy

  7. thankyou for the easy biscuit tip, just made a big batch tonight and they were indeed easy and delicious. Love the sound of that Amish friendship bread.

  8. I just realized I have that same tv cabinet sitting empty under the house. It makes a great craft cupboard!!! If I could just find a craft space...

  13. Everything Amish is becoming so popular latey...and that's great in my opinion. Have you been watching Meet The Amish on SBS Wednesday 8.30pm. It's halfway into a 4 part series, it's very good.
