After ten days of nurturing the starter you divide it into small portions, some to bake with  and the rest to giveaway to your nearest and dearest.  Read more here

  1. I think I'm due for another drive up Mt Conobolus. The last time we went it was so foggy/misty that we couldn't see a thing.
Love the story behind Amish Friendship Bread.
And all that pretty fabric unpacked. I bet you're inspired to get creating again.

  6. Ahh Karen - it looks like you are settling in just fine. You and the family look great - and it looks so cool up there too! Starting to warm up here - first taste of summer today I think. Good that you are baking and getting your craft things out - and doesn't having a visit from family make such a difference!? Take care, and so good to see you posting again. cheers Wendy

  12. It's great to catch up and see how you are going in your new home. I was amazed at how much you bub has grown. They grow up so fast. Having your craft area set up must make it feel like you've really settled in. Hope you get some spare time for some projects now.

  13. Everything Amish is becoming so popular latey...and that's great in my opinion. Have you been watching Meet The Amish on SBS Wednesday 8.30pm. It's halfway into a 4 part series, it's very good.

I know what you mean about blogging, I have less and less time to do it lately, but I do try and get a post in about once a week.
